I was dying to use my new sizzix scallop die with my cuttlebug so I used the stamp set I still had out from the other day. By the way, I got the sizzix die for 7.49 (woohoo). Our A.C Moore store was closing and being taking over by Joann's! So sad that we are moving but maybe there's a Joanns or A.C Moore in Lawton, OK, we'll see.

Hey everybody!!! Just wanted to check in with the blogging family. As you know, last month I had issues with my blog and accidently deleted some of the blog sites I had listed and I am trying to get them back. If it's okay and you would like me to post your blog please leave a comment below with your blog addy.

Blogging has turned out to be so much fun for me and I have enjoyed reading such awesome blogs. Blogging has also inspired me to actually use some of the stuff I've been hoarding. That doesn't mean however that I've stopped hoarding I'm just making room for more! Thanks and props go out to all you enablers!!!! :)

On another note if your are going to convention, what group are you in? I'm in the sunflower group and I'm so excited.

Hey everybody!!!
I feel like I've been gone forever. This summer is turning out to be moch more busy than I thought it would be.
I've been busy with our 4th of July picnic/family reunion and now that it is over I can actually make a card and scrap!!
I'm attending convention this year and I am so excited (this is my first). I am making a few things to swap so maybe I'll post some artwork this week. I would say tomorrow but although I have good intentions the kiddos are keeping me busy.:)

OMG!!! I can't believe it's been so long since I've posted! We have been on the go since Damond got back from Iraq with traveling so I haven't had much time to stamp. We just got back early Thursday morning from Oklahoma and Wichita Falls,TX. We are going to be at Ft.Sill while Damond is in the CCC (captain's career course). If there is a spot open for this position he want's then we will be there for a few years. It was funny to see that not much has changed since we were there about 4 years ago!! We went looking for a place to stay with not much luck :(, so we'll just keep looking, at least we know what area we want so that's good.

We all had so much fun on our trip, the kids enjoyed it alot. Raegan got to see the buffalo's (cameron was asleep) and she got soooo excited saying, "mom, look at the buffalo's!! We went to the wildlife refuge to see the buffalo's and Damond wanted to take lots of pics with the new camera (canon rebel xti). Let me jsut tell ya, that camera is awesome. I used it to take my last post and I just loved the faded backgroun. The pic on this post is not as good because I used the old digital camera cause Damond has the other one out taking pictures!! Man, he has been like the papparazzi with that camera. LOL!! We are both learning new things about it so it's fun.
On our way home we stopped in Dallas to take the kids to the zoo and they really enjoyed that as well. So all in all our trip was fabulous.
I wanted to see how the graphite black ink pad worked so I tried it with the shirts for the kids. I think they came out okay but I thought the images would be a little darker but oh well. I think I may try to find the palette hybrid ink in black and see how that works.

Hey, i hope everyone had a great weekend!
Here is a card i made using my new vellum flowers. I got a whole kit with 109 pieces including vellum bands, three different shape flowers, petals and scrolls! The set is by cloud 9 design and i got them from addictedtoscrapbooking.com.
Here are the details of my card:
Stamps - just celebrate(SU) and say it with style (CTMH)
Flowers - cloud 9 design
other - copic markers, paper piercer, dew drops, and sewing machine!
Cardstock -CTMH - chocolate and kiwi
